HUFLIT announced early admission benchmarks in the second phase of academic and competency assessments in 2023

On July 4, 2023, the University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, announced the early admission cutoff scores for the three admission methods in the second round for 18 undergraduate programs offered by the university.

 

Specifically, for the two admission methods based on high school academic records (Method 1: HK2 grade 11 & HK1 grade 12 and Method 2: Grade 12 high school academic records), the scores range from 18.0 to 25.25. For the admission method based on the results of the National University Entrance Examination 2023 of Ho Chi Minh City National University, the common cutoff score is 550.

Candidates who are admitted early through the high school academic records evaluation method in the second round of 2023 will receive conditional admission notifications from HUFLIT via SMS or email.

From July 5 to July 31, 2023, HUFLIT continues to accept applications for the second round of admission through the evaluation of the high school academic records for 18 undergraduate programs. This is HUFLIT’s third round of admission based on high school academic records, and candidates can apply now to seize the opportunity to be admitted to their desired majors.

Many interesting learning activities at HUFLIT are waiting for new students

In order to provide additional motivation for new students in the academic year 2023-2024, HUFLIT is offering 500 scholarships with various forms of support. Besides academic performance scholarships and policy scholarships, there are several other categories of scholarships available for new students. These include scholarships for students who achieve the top position in the university’s entrance exam or their respective majors, scholarships for students who have achieved provincial or city-level academic excellence, or those who possess internationally recognized language certificates (such as TOEFL ITP 525, TOEFL IBT 68, IELTS 6.5, HSK Level 5, JLPT N3, and TOPIK Level 3). Additionally, there are scholarships for language and computer courses, scholarships for connecting with businesses, and other forms of support.

The Hoc Mon Campus Scholarship is a special scholarship program offered to new students who choose to study at the Hoc Mon Campus for the entire duration of their regular courses. Under this scholarship, students will receive a 15% reduction in the total tuition fee for the entire duration of their studies. This scholarship is applicable to the following majors: English Studies, Chinese Studies, Information Technology, Business Administration, International Business, as well as the two new majors: E-commerce and Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

HUFLIT offers 500 scholarships exclusively for new students in 2023

In 2023, according to the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates who have early admission results to universities and colleges must continue to register their preferences on the Admissions Information Portal of the Ministry of Education & Training as instructed and be officially recognized as high school graduates who have been accepted.

Candidates who have been admitted early through the methods of academic transcript evaluation and national high school graduation examination results as announced, need to pay attention to the following timelines and complete the necessary procedures to become the freshmen of the 29th cohort at HUFLIT.

    From August 1st to August 22nd, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT) will accept applications for admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam in the fourth round of 2023 for 18 undergraduate majors under the regular system.
  • HUFLIT announces the guaranteed threshold for admission quality based on the method of evaluating the high school graduation exam results in 2023
    On July 24, 2023, the Admission Council of HUFLIT announced the guaranteed threshold for admission quality based on the method of evaluating the high school graduation exam results in 2023. This threshold is applicable to 18 undergraduate majors under the regular system, following the admission evaluation process regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training. The admission score threshold ranges from 15 to 16 points.
